Get Involved in the Fun with After School Sports
E-Learning, Sports, and More this School Year
As we head toward the start of the school year, we want to update you on our plans to continue to offer before and after school programs, as well as full-day programs for families that do not have in-person school five days per week. Our full-day program will allocate time for students in grades Kindergarten – 8th Grade to complete their e-learning, with breaks for sports, meals, and projects. Our programs are built on the principle that children construct knowledge by interacting collaboratively with their peers on projects, there is also a large social-emotional development aspect of in-person learning. This type of rich learning environment is difficult to create through e-learning, especially with the younger age groups. We are striving to provide as much of an in-person environment as safely possible to those children who need it.
The After School Sports program is founded on the principle that physical activity not only improves health but boosts concentration and cognitive function. Allowing children to play and engage in sports activities provides them with a space to burn off energy. This enables them to focus better on homework and also develop their cognitive skills. Students will use our state -of -the-art indoor fields to participate and experience a number of different sports as baseball, football, soccer, lacrosse, hockey and basketball to name a few.
Provide a unique e-learning program that blends physical activity with classroom work that complements the child’s school program in developing their social, emotional, intellectual, and physical potential.
Create a community environment for children where sports and physical activity are used to teach sportsmanship, improve health, enhance coordination and athletic ability, with the aim of boosting self-confidence, improving social skills, nurturing cognitive development respect, and building life skills.
• The use of physical activity to boost stamina and improve health
• The use of sports to teach sportsmanship and mutual respect
• The belief in the link between physical activity and increased cognitive function
• Create a community of children that learns life skills through peer interaction
